Solitaire moval engagement rings hold a single moval diamond on a plain band with nothing to compete with the stone. The moval is a marquise-oval hybrid, with an oval's curved sides and gently pointed ends, so it lengthens the finger without the sharp tips of a true marquise; on a solitaire that outline is the whole design.
Eight single-stone designs for a moval
From our solitaire collection, eight designs are cut for the moval: the Solitaire ($950), four prongs on a slim band; the Low Profile ($950), with the head dropped close to the finger so nothing snags; the Flat Band ($950), a square-edged band; the Cathedral ($1,000), with arched shoulders that brace the head; the Bypass and East West Bypass ($1,500), where the band wraps past the stone, upright or set sideways along the finger; the Wide Flat Band ($1,500); and the Cigar Band ($2,200), a broad flat band with the stone set into it, worn without a wedding band. Each is made in 14k and 18k yellow, white, rose and two-tone gold and platinum; prices are the 14k setting before the diamond.
Choosing a moval for a solitaire
Because the moval is cut by few labs, it is the shape to choose when you want an elongated stone nobody else at the table has. Our moval engagement rings guide covers the shape and its ratios, our solitaire guide covers prongs and heights, and the full moval collection shows the same stone in every setting we make.
Every ring is made to order around a lab-grown moval diamond you choose, graded by IGI or GIA, and ships free in the US with 30-day returns, one complimentary resize within 100 days and a lifetime manufacturing warranty.
